This foundations mission is to provide support to Middle Tennessee students pursuing a business degree or STEM approved degree. The Ned McWherter Scholars Program is intended to encourage academically superior Tennessee high school graduates to attend college in Tennessee. The award is $6000 per academic year, $3000 from the State of Tennessee and $3000 from the college or university attended and it is a renewable scholarship. To be eligible, the applicant must: have a minimum composite score of 29 on the ACT or 1280 on the SAT (math and critical reading only); have at least a 3.5 unweighted cumulative grade point average, and be a resident of Tennessee, a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and attend an eligible Tennessee college or university full time. The Wells Fargo Program is a highly selective, FULL SCHOLARSHIP for Pell eligible seniors. Recipients will receive funding for the full cost of attendance that is not covered by financial aid through the FAFSA. Applications must be submitted online here by the deadline. The application process is now open for the 8th annual Cornerstone Financial Credit Union Scholarship Program through March 1, 2018. College-bound high school seniors in Davidson, Dickson, Montgomery, Rutherford, Sumner and Williamson Counties, as well as Tennessee residents with a parent or guardian who is a Cornerstone member can apply. April 16, 2018 - MTSU Biology Scholarship
The Biology Department at Middle Tennessee State University has three $1,500 scholarships available to first-semester freshman. The recipients of the awards must be graduating high school seniors, must declare Biology as their major and be entering MTSU for the Fall 2018 semester. Successful applicants will also need to demonstrate an interest in the life sciences and have career aspirations in a biological field. The scholarships will be awarded based on the students’ ACT scores, high-school GPA, and their responses on the attached application form. The application process is now open for the 8th annual Cornerstone Financial Credit Union Scholarship Program through March 1, 2018. College-bound high school seniors in Davidson, Dickson, Montgomery, Rutherford, Sumner and Williamson Counties, as well as Tennessee residents with a parent or guardian who is a Cornerstone member can apply. March 15, 2018 - Community Foundation Scholarship Online Application
The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee is now accepting scholarship applications. The applications are available on their website at www.cfmt.org/request/scholarships. Students need only complete one application to be considered for any CFMT scholarship for which they are eligible.

April 14, 2018 - Larry C. Alford II Scholarship
A $500 scholarship will be awarded to a college bound senior with a minimum GPA of 3.0. For the application, click here.
April 15, 2018 - Regions Hampton Scholarship Foundation
High school seniors planning on attending an accredited college, university, or technical school can apply for this $1,500 scholarship if they are a TN resident and show financial need. The online application can be found here.
April 15, 2018 - SAME Scholarship
The Society of Military Engineers (SAME) is accepting applications from students pursuing a college education in engineering, architecture, mathematics, computer science, or related field. Ft. Campbell is offering a $750 to a high school senior who is a dependent of active duty, reserve duty, military retired or society member. Applications can be downloaded at http://same.org/campbell and must be returned by April 15th. The recipient will be notified in June.
April 16, 2018 - MTSU Biology Scholarship
The Biology Department at Middle Tennessee State University has three $1,500 scholarships available to first-semester freshman. The recipients of the awards must be graduating high school seniors, must declare Biology as their major and be entering MTSU for the Fall 2018 semester. Successful applicants will also need to demonstrate an interest in the life sciences and have career aspirations in a biological field. The scholarships will be awarded based on the students’ ACT scores, high-school GPA, and their responses on the attached application form. April 22, 2018 - Student-View Scholarship
The Student-View Scholarship Program is offering scholarships ranging from $500-$4,000 worth of scholarships to seniors planning on attending a university, college, or career school. To apply, log on to www.student-view.com and complete a 15-20 minute survey about colleges in our area. Scholarships are awarded by random drawing and will be announced in May.
