Hello Class of 2021. I hope you all are beginning to acclimate to high school life. Just a few tips to help get you started:
- Be proactive and communicate with your teachers or counselor (me) regarding any concerns you may have.
- Please read and keep your NEHS handbook. Many of the answers to questions you may have are in there.
- Keep up with your class materials (notes, homework, etc.), study (not just the night before an exam – in general, study), turn assignments in on time, and do not wait until the end of the 9 weeks to ask your teacher for help or to turn in missed work.
- Ask questions in class – if you still have difficulty understanding the content, sign up for FREE after-school tutoring (schedule for this will be released later).
- Most of all – enjoy your high school years!
