Vision Statement
Our vision is that students will become articulate, inquisitive, motivated, and dedicated life-long learners who continue to develop a respectful nature while learning to be self-advocates pursuing options after high school. Students will independently work toward their own unique life goals to be successful and productive citizens in an ever-changing global community.
Mission Statement
Students will have access to a caring, nurturing, and welcoming comprehensive school counseling program encouraging student academic, career, social, and emotional development for the future.
Beliefs
1. The School Counseling Program is data driven and consistently works to meet the needs of students through school counseling curriculum, individual student planning, responsive services, and system support.
2. Nurturing students’ social and emotional well-being is foundational to encouraging academic development and future success so that students may reach their individual potential.
3. The school counselor will advocate for students.
4. The school counseling team will be available to collaborate with families, interested community constituents, and various other stakeholders to enrich students’ lives, assist in student development, and provide opportunities that students may not otherwise have access to or knowledge of without intervention.
5. Every student has dignity and worth deserving of equal opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed in a respectful environment.
6. All students will develop and implement a plan for options after high school.
